  1. I've considered nursing for a long time and I think I wanna apply this fall, but I´m very insecure about my math-skills. I've heard the math is easy, but one mistake and the consequences could be fatal. Should I even go to nursing school if I´m terrible at math? im so torn…:(

  2. I read a book about a mental illness nurse and it made me want to become a nurse… but now watching a video or two on nursing, i don’t think it’s for me. i want to be a homemaker and i think i’m better off becoming a teacher.

  5. Good nurses are worth their weight in gold. Nurses are just as important–if not more-for the outcome of the patient as the doctors evaluating them and putting the orders in.

  6. I really appreciate how you don't say stuff like "if you dont like…. then this might not be the career for you", but instead give advise on what to do to perfect it!!

  7. I think this young woman is the right person to be a nurse. She has a strong personality and is grounded. Nursing has always been looked at as a, "Feminine" career choice. It used to be one of the only professions a woman could enter back when women couldn't work/go to school. With that has always been this image of how it is a soft, cutesy, almost maid-like job and people still buy that shit. People need to stop. 🔴 2021 guys theres a lot of info now on how it is back breaking work. I think the best people cut out for nursing are those who know exactly what they are getting themselves into and have some kind of fascination in helping others/ science/ having a purpose in life. People who are not suited for it will burn out quickly and feel miserable. You got to really do some soul searching, people.

  8. nursing is not gross….I have been a nurse a long time…you have to grow up. People are sick, they don't feel well. Someday you will need a nurse too. Hopefully she won't make you feel like you are gross.

  9. I need to make a video like this on my channel haha. I am pretty biased working in the OR so thats why all my videos paint nursing as the dream job if you're a travel nurse but there really are some drawbacks and you pointed out some big ones in this video. I would still say nursing is still the best job if you are a traveler being compensated well for your services, but I understand that this is coming from an OR nurse, not the ER or ICU where things can get super stressful in different ways like you mentioned. Great video!

  10. My grandma was a nurse and she told me the other day that everyone always thinks the doctors are the ones healing you but it's the nurses that do all the work like changing IV's and cleaning them up and making sure they take their medicine. She also told me she got out of a ticket because the officer saw that she was a nurse and didn't want to give her a ticket.

  11. Hello, I need some advice please. I’m currently in highschool, and am leaning towards being a nurse in the Intensive Care Unit. Once I graduate, where do I start? Of course going to college, but what type of programs would I need to take? Is their anything specifically that I need to accomplish in highschool that would give me a better chance (other than doing well in science and math.)? Thank you in advance
